===========================================================

Silly as this may sound, a position one is in their family has been scientifically proved to determine how they behave as adults. I have tried so hard to see the middle-child syndrome from middle children like me, the extreme leadership qualities in the firstborns and the self centeredness in the lastborns. I have seen from some and not from others.

I always make an example using my mom’s lastborn twins. They are totally different. My sister is the most responsible and selfless person I know for her age, whilst my brother has all the manipulative traits of a lastborn. I really think the characters are mainly molded in the raising of the kids and not determined purely by the birth order.

We have articles on birth order. You may want to check how accurate we are on different people you know. I have heard myself a couple of times confidently aligning my issues with being a middle child. Is it possible that you get a bit ignored when you are a middle child or in my case, one of the middle children? I think it is actually.

4. Health News Highlights this Week:

Fast-Food Diet Damages Liver

Otherwise healthy people who were asked to eat mainly fast food for four weeks and cut down on their physical activity quickly developed signs of liver damage and pre-diabetic insulin resistance, Swedish researchers report. (SOURCE: Gut)

Anger and Depression are Bad for the Heart

Hostility and depression often appear together, and the combination can put a strain on the heart, a new study finds. Researchers at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis examined emotional symptoms and blood markers of inflammatory proteins in 316 healthy people aged 50 to 70. Depression Rarely Discussed With Rheumatoid arthritis Patients

Rheumatoid arthritis poses heightened risk, but it's talked about by only 20% of patients. People with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) may be at increased risk for depression. However the subject is rarely discussed with their doctors, says a U.S. study that included 200 RA patients at four rheumatology clinics. In the study RA patients were found to have severe depression symptoms. (SOURCE: Arthritis Care & Research, news release, Feb. 1, 2008)

Stressful Jobs Dangerous for your Heart High anxiety, low control double recurrent heart attack risk, study finds. Chronic on-the-job stress doubles the risk that someone who has had a heart attack will have another major coronary event. Other studies have shown that workplace stress boosts heart woes, but this is the first to link job anxieties with recurrent heart attacks and other major events, the report's authors said.
