God Lives Outside Seasons.

God is not limited by seasons or circumstances. In the above scripture we learn how the children of Israel crossed the Jordan. The scriptures tell us that the Jordan was at flood stage at the time. The NLT version puts it this way, “It was the harvest season, and the Jordan was overflowing its banks. To the natural eyes it seemed to be a tough call to cross that river. Some people may have thought that maybe it was not the right season to cross. Others could have thought of waiting for the season when the water is dry or low. But God said that was the time to cross the Jordan and he made a way for them to cross. And he made the situation to look like it was dry season.

I therefore would like to encourage you to face whatever circumstances that God says you must face with confidence that He will do whatever he promises in His Word about the situation or circumstances. It does not matter how the situation looks. If God says go just go and watch him perform his miracles. Imagine what would have happened if the children of Israel, particularly the priests who carried the ark did not step forward and touched the water as God commanded. They would have missed the miracle (and/ or breakthrough) that God had in store for them.

Folks God can create any season he wants with your circumstances. So don’t be intimidated by the noise of the overflowing river. Step forward. The river that is obstructing you will stop flowing as soon as you touch the edge of the water. Go forward and see God perform a miracle in your life. Amazingly, most of the time God wants us to step forward before he can display his power and give us tremendous victory. The children of Israel had to move on towards the Red Sea. David had to step forward to the battle lines. Your courage to step forward is holding your breakthrough. God can create any season he wants. If what you want can be successfully accomplished in a particular season, God will provide just that. The children of Israel crossed the Jordan River on dry ground as if it was not the season when it overflows. At that moment God created a different season just for them. But they had to step forward.
