All the promises of God are yours
For all the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
II Corinthians 1:20 (King James Version of the Holy Bible)
When I was still growing up, I never had a problem believing that God can perform miracles, heal the sick, and many other things. But somehow I never thought He would do that for me.
Thank God, I know now that His promises are yea and Amen. There is no question whether it can happen to one and not happen to the other. The promises have been made and God agrees to perform them for you. Remember God is no respecter of persons. If He says He will do it, certainly He will do it. Look at the scripture: all promises, not just some, but all of them. What was promised to Abraham, as the seed of Abraham, we inherit those promises. The promises made in Deuteronomy 28 are ours, not some but all.
We know the meaning of yea (yes). What about amen? The word is of Hebrew origin meaning: properly firm, that is, (figuratively) trustworthy; adverbially surely (often as interjection so be it): - amen, verily [from Strong’s Hebrew and Greek Dictionary].
Also note that God does this for His own Glory through us. He wants his glory to be seen through us. His glory is not seen when we suffer, or when we are sick, but when His promises are fulfilled in our lives.
Determine today to shine and let the glory be seen by believing God for all His promises. ALL PROMISES BELONG TO YOU.
All things are possible.
Keep believing.
We are as victorious as our Christ
