Dog food nutrition should be the first priority for all dog and puppy owners. Animals, like human beings should lead a healthy lifestyle. All animals gradually graduate from soft baby food to the introduction of solid foods. You may actually need to control the food portions for your dogs. Remember that pets may become obese and unhealthy too. There could also be problems with the quick development of your animals. With over-feeding they may grow too quickly and develop bone problems.

Determine food portions for a specific dog breed with your veterinarian. A consultation or two on your puppy or dog nutrition facts will do. Take notes during consultations and call your veterinarian whenever you need advice.
