Essential Exercise Equipment for your Home Gym
Home gyms with useful exercise equipment are a convenient and private way to shape up. However not all machines are reasonable or useful to have. If you are not so comfortable to go exercise with a lot of fit people, get yourself a few pieces of your own. The following are the best tools to have in your home.
Why buy in an Auction?
The most cost effective way to build a gym is to get used or refurbished gym equipment. Most used equipment is as good as new. Think about the impulsive buyers who will get rid of their stuff because of space and unimplemented plan to lose weight. Getting new equipment doesn’t usually mean you get the best.
I. Aerobic and Cardiovascular Machines
As I always emphasise, aerobics are good for your heart health. Again, if you want to lose weight get a bit of treadmill, bike, etc. For best aerobic workouts consider:
- Treadmills
Treadmills give you an option to determine the intensity of your exercise. This is the best equipment for both the beginner and the fittest person. These are also amongst the safest equipments.
Treadmills
Stationary Bikes
Stationary bikes similarly to the treadmill, provide you with safety features. They are low-impact and good on your knees. Those who love cycling can use the stationary bike and get all the health benefits of outdoor cycling. You may store your bike neatly behind your bedroom door.

A home gym or multi-gym machine provides you with a benefit of a variety of exercise you can perform. Strength exercising is the most underrated fitness type with unbelievable benefits. A purchase of one machine with a number of benefits. Shopping for a gym should take into consideration the space available in your home. Home gyms can be bulky.

III. Exercise DVDs and Videos
Exercise DVDs are probably the cheapest way of getting a workout. Some aerobic workouts require no additional equipments, just you and your TV set. You may form a group and use the DVD as your trainer or instructor.

VI. Dumbbells
Dumbbells alone can do wonders for your body. Though these are not the most popular of exercise equipment, they can do a lot more exercises than most people think. Gradual is however the key issue with weight lifting. Take baby steps and build up on them. Start with the lighter weights and graduate to the heavier ones as you gain more muscle weight. Keep your exercise routine interesting with various forms of exercise.

VII. Medicine Balls
Medicine balls: Another excellent piece of equipment is a medicine ball. This ball will help build and strengthen a number of muscle groups at the same time. These come in a number of different shapes and sizes to suite your needs and style. It doesn’t get better than that.

VIII. Exercise Benches
Weight benches: A quality bench enables one to be efficient in their strength training. There are a variety of weight bench designs and one can easily pick up a simple and cheap bench with all the benefits of the expensive ones. A flexible weight lifting bench with attachments can be more beneficial for your home gym.

IX. Stability Balls or Swiss Balls
A stability ball or Swiss Ball is my favourite of gym equipment. It doesn’t take space; it is reasonable, yet so efficient. This exercise equipment was inverted as a form of therapeutic instrumentation. (I also use it for my daughter’s therapy and as a chair for my back.) You may use it to perform a lot of exercises that are done using a weight bench.

X. Resistance Bands
Resistance bands are helpful when it comes to flexibility and strength training. I would recommend these kinds of exercise equipment especially for golfers and tennis players.
