The healthy balanced diet builds a strong body that fights diseases and fights excess body fat.

Good Fats

The good oils that are a good food sources of Omega 3 are not only good for a healthy diet but they are very essential in balancing one’s hormones, aiding your weight loss and good for your skin too. Flaxseed oil or flour is amongst the best if not the healthiest oil there is. Remember to keep your flaxseed oil or flour in the fridge.

Other useful healthy oils include walnuts, fish, olive oil, canola oil and pumpkin seeds. The good fats are not to be heated in any way for optimum benefits. Consume your nuts raw and your oils as a salad dressing.

Fruit and Vegetables

Fruit and vegetables are the best source of fiber and nutrients. These are especially beneficial in activating the thyroid hormones which helps with weight loss. Again fruit has some sugar, so there is a need to limit it especially to aid with weight-loss. Mix your high sugar content fruits with the low sugar content ones. Its always better to take your high sugar content fruits as early as possible in your day.

Pure Water

Water and more water is a must take in your diet. The 6 to 8 glasses of pure water a day not only makes you feel better but aids with the weight loss as well. The 8 glasses of water and at least 25 grams of fiber will definitely lead to a healthier bowel movement. Vegetables will give you a lot of this fiber in its natural form. Some fruits like grapefruit and berries are also a good source of fiber.

Good Carbohydrates

Whole grains are not only high in fiber but they also help in reducing cholesterol, high blood pressure, they lower your chances of cancer, diabetes and heart disease. Whole grains are also a magic antiageing formula.

The most important thing to remember is that all foods must be consumed as close as possible to its natural state. Food must be in the same color and even form when possible that it was in when coming out of the soil. It loses a lot of nutrients with too much processing.

Be in a habit of juicing your own fruit and vegetables to get the most of nutrients without preservatives. Investing in a juicer is amongst the most beneficial choices for the healthy lifestyle.

Those who want to lose weight or have chronic sicknesses should put the most effort in getting a healthy diet. You will need some exercise as well for an overall healthy lifestyle.
