Lose weight tips for a healthy shape: Losing weight should be more about health than looks. However we all want to look good. But this should not be the priority goal to lose weight. We know how much the mirror and scales harm our self confidence. This should not be our focus.
Gradual: The healthy way of losing weight is slow and gradual. Surprisingly this also leads to better looks with no extra loose skin to deal with.
Look Conciousness :Obsession about looks is what leads to a number of sicknesses like Anorexia and Bulimia.
Skinny Threats: Being too thin is very unhealthy and might even pose more threat than being slightly overweight.
Better Choices: Switch from bad to good foods gradually. I know the temptation to just start with a cabbage soup diet in one day to lose 5kg that day alone. Please, no crash diet works for everyone.

Exercise: The amount of exercise is important. However any little bit of exercise adds up to the bigger picture. If you set smart goals, any couch potato can turn out to be the strongest fitness guru. It happens all the time. Exercise will take you through your day. Use up as much calories as you can.
Set Goals:Set yourself smaller goals that build up to the bigger goal. Do it like you would a corporate strategy with sub-goals. If you have 30kg to lose for instance you may divide it into six 5kg sub-goals. That will keep you motivated.
Rewards: If you are like me, you’ll reward yourself for each goal achieved. My lose weight tips strategy number one was treating myself to a facial after losing the first 5kg, then a manicure at 10kg until a full body massage at goal. The goal system helps other people stay focused. Remember that this is a lifetime lifestyle. You don’t need to rush it like you’ll quit at some point. Rather do it correctly once and for all.
Food Rules: The first thing to rectify in your meals would be to avoid sugar, replace bad fats with the good ones and increase your fibre intake.
Variety: Increase your variety of foods. Never eat one kind of food or eliminate some to lose weight because you’ll never get enough nutrients and besides that is not a sustainable diet. Our rule of thumb is to focus on adding at least one healthy food in your diet every month rather than eliminating any. In a year you will have added 12 nutritious foods in your diet. And definitely unhealthy foods fallen off by themselves.
8 a Day: Drink your way to a slimmer you. Eight glasses of water or more with exercise is a rule.
Consistency: Focus on your goal and remind yourself of that every time you pass by a junk food restaurant. “Is a piece of fried chicken and fries worth my whole month effort of exercise?”
Unhealthy Diets: The truth that you need to stay with forever is that the fad diets don’t work. Worse you’ll need to buy something or pay someone, then lose weight and a few months down the line you’ll still be where you started or with more fat. Appetite suppressants don’t work either and even if they did, will you be suppressing your appetite for life? The steady, healthy way is the ONLY way.
