Pregnancy: Mom’s Fears.

A child is the greatest gift for every parent. Pregnancy is an opportunity for a mother to embrace God’s miracle of creating life. What an honor!

This is a period full of uncertainty. You may feel excited especially when you are ready to be a parent in all respects. Planned pregnancies are the very exciting and more relaxed compared to the unplanned ones, like in the case of teenage pregnancies.

Normal Fears for a New-Mom

  • This can be an overwhelming period for any expectant mom. Thoughts of taking care of a baby who entirely rely on you for her well-being can be scary.
  • The fears of something going wrong with your baby are quite normal, especially when a mom has had a bad experience with previous pregnancies.
  • Labour and its pains can be another scary thought for a mom, especially a first time mom. Empower yourself with as much knowledge as possible. Enroll for prenatal courses with your midwife. Make sure that your partner attends too, it helps knowing what to expect for both of you
  • .

Your major gift to your unborn baby, is taking care of his/ her mom. Take good care of yourself and be of optimum health. You owe it to your baby, and to you.The rest is in God’s hands and He has a perfect plan for you, always.

All the best with the baby.
