The following tips will revitalise your skin, enhancing its glow and smoothness.

Increase Silkiness

  1. Remove dead skin cells by brushing your body with a loofah. Use gentle, circular strokes
  2. Smooth almond oil over your body for 15 minutes, then gently buff in water.
  3. Soften any leathery, discoloured skin bysoaking cotton squares in lemon juice, then massage them onto your knees. Place your elbows in the pre-squeezed lemon halves for five minutes, then rinse.
  4. Treat rough, bumpy skin on the back of your arms and legs by spreading sour cream over the area for ten minutes, then rinse.
  5. For dry, cracked hands combine two boiled and mashed potatoes with 1 tbsp vegetable glycerine and enough milk to make a paste. Massage into your hands, leave for five minutes and rinse.
  6. Relieve itchy skin by adding 2 tbsp bicarbonate of soda to your bath water
  7. For softer skin, pput a handful of rice bran into a clean cut-off stocking, knot at the top, and drop it into the bath to release the vitamin – rich oils.

Fix Dryness

  1. Smooth apricot kernel oil around your eyes to prevent wrinkling.
  2. Restore your skin’s pH balance by dabbing on diluted apple cider vinegar.
  3. Try aromatherapy oils such as geranium, chamomile, rose and sandalwood.
  4. Apply moisturiser to slightly damp skin. It will spread more easily.
