Teens Making Money
Teens making money is not surprising anymore. It is as common as adults creating and accumulating wealth. Most teenagers believe they cannot create any wealth because they have no jobs. Not True!!! Anyone can start working on their wealth at any stage in their lives. My 4 year old son uses his cash box as a bank and whatever money he gets from his grandparents is stored in his bank. That is wealth creation.
Teens making Money: How to
1. Pocket Money
As a teenager you may be getting some form of pocket money from your parents or guardian. That is where you start with your wealth creation. I realize your monthly allowance could be too small like $20 here and $10 there. Trust me it adds up.
2. Job
You may also get a part-time job in the restaurant, local shop, library or salon. Something that you can do after school or during school breaks will come in handy too. In this case you will get a salary or wages which is an additional source of income. Never underestimate these kinds of jobs. They can lead to teens making money and growing their wealth faster than most adults.
3. Small Business
Most teenagers are really doing it for themselves. You too can start a successful small business. You may start with selling candies at school, ice cream from home, etc. look at your passions and interests as a source of inspiration. If you love taking family pictures, you may have a successful photography business. Likewise, if you are good with hairstyling, you may have an after-school hair or beauty salon from home. I had a décor business when I was a teen which paid for my education until I got my degree. It is possible.
Most recognized businessmen today started their businesses in their teens. I will take Richard Branson (started at 15) and Robert Kiyosaki (started at 9) as my examples. Being a teenager enables you to take risks easier. You don’t have much to lose. It’s a good time to learn to make something for yourself.
4. Direct Selling
You may start by promoting or selling other people’s products or services. This way you earn a certain percentage of the product price as commission. Most of the direct selling opportunities come with training tools. A great opportunity to get new skills as well.
I was once selling some kitchen products with distributor commission of 30 percent. That was a lot of money because of the fact that these products were pretty well in demand. My sister is making a lot of money from selling pots that are well recognized. I have also done vitamins, cleaning detergents and other health products. You can always get a product that you can sell to other teens.
5. Online
Opportunities to make money in the internet are unlimited. Everyone is searching for information, a product or service they need everyday. Let them find you offering that piece of information or product. The fact that you are reading this now is proof enough that someone is in need of some information. Think of anything that you ever needed from the internet and think of ways in which you can provide it to other people like you.
Many teens globally own their websites. It’s easier than you think. Find a subject you are passionate about. It could be ballet, teen relationships, drug abuse, style, etc. you can reach out to thousands and millions of teens everyday and make a living out of it.
You are probably asking how you can make money from providing information. Here it goes. You place adverts that are related to your topic in your website. As your visitors click on the adverts, you get commission. Most are making thousands of dollars from Google Adverts alone. You too can. You may be the envy of every teen who is selling T-shirts at school.
For more information on how you can own a website, leave me a note. The tool I used to build healthfun-ps.com is invaluable and very cheap. There is no need for you to have any prior website building knowledge.
