The Vessels of Honour for any Good Work

In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay. Some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble. If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.

II Timothy 2: 20

We all see people being used by God in many different ways. Some to heal the sick, others to reach out to the lost souls, and yet others to minister to the body of Christ in different capacities as the Spirit wills. Paul, in this scripture, is saying it is your responsibility to position yourself in a place where God can use you.

Many of us want to be vessels of honor but few of us are willing to do what it takes to be ready for any good work that God may want accomplished through humans. The Lord may, on several occasions, have wanted to send you to convey a special message to a dying neighbor, but you were not in a position to hear that – you were not available.

In the coming end-time revival, God is calling you to position yourself appropriately so that you can convey blessings to the world and reach the lost.

The Lord wants all his children to be distributors of His power. Ephesians 3: 20 states that now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. This power is at work through us. God can only reach the world through us. Someone who knows God must ask him to heal the sick and you will see him moving and healing all the sick. The power works through us to the world. If the church is dead, there will be no power to pass to the world.

Determine today to take your rightful place and let the power move through you to the world.
