What People have said about you does not Matter

Fellow Christians’ natural circumstances and what people have said about us are not stumbling blocks to God. God is able to do what no human being has seen before. God told Marry that she would have a son even though she had never known a man. In the natural, this seemed impossible. But she did get a Son and that Son is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Elizabeth, John the Baptist’s mother was said to be barren, but she did get a son in her old age. Abraham was a good as dead (because of age) and Sarah who was old and barren did get a son (i.e. Isaac). God created Adam out of dust.

• God created a man out of dust
• God made barren people to be fertile and have children
• God made a virgin girl to have a son without known a man

God is really not limited by what people have said about you or what the natural circumstances dictate. God will create something through in an unusual way if you allow him to. I like the way Mary responded when the angel of the Lord told her that she will have a son even though she had not known a man. She said in Luke 1: 38; “I am the Lord’s servant,…May it be as you have said.” What was she doing, one may ask? She was agreeing with what God had told her. In other words, she was saying that even if I do not know how God is going to make it happen, I agree with the fact that He says he will do it. When you do that you allow God to use his unusual ways to give you miracles.

I therefore encourage you to take God’s word above what people have said about you. They may have said you are barren, but what God says about you is what matters. We saw it with Sarah (Abraham’s wife) who in Genesis 11: 30 was said to be barren. In Luke 1: 36, Elizabeth was said to be barren. Fellow Christians, don’t agree with everything that people say about you if it is not in agreement with what God says about you. God says that you are his most precious possession; you are blessed and no one can curse you; you are a success. Even if at the moment it does not look like you are successful in the natural, just believe what God says because in the end, everything that God says will prove to be true. People may have said you are a failure but God says I knew you before I formed you. God has a purpose with each an every one of us and that purpose will be fulfilled. Nothing is impossible with God. He can create something out of nothing. Be blessed in the name of Jesus.
